165 gauVI guAwryrI mhlw 4 ] (165-1)ga-orhee gu-aarayree mehlaa 4. Gauree Gwaarayree, Fourth Mehl: siqgur syvw sPl hY bxI ] (165-1)satgur sayvaa safal hai banee. Service to the True Guru is fruitful and rewarding; ijqu imil hir nwmu iDAwieAw hir DxI ] (165-2)jit mil har naam Dhi-aa-i-aa har Dhanee. meeting Him, I meditate on the Name of the Lord, the Lord Master. ijn hir jipAw iqn pICY CUtI GxI ]1] (165-2)jin har japi-aa tin peechhai chhootee ghanee. ||1|| So many are emancipated along with those who meditate on the Lord. ||1|| gurisK hir bolhu myry BweI ] (165-2)gursikh har bolhu mayray bhaa-ee. The five passions, running wild, are brought to rest by meditating on the Lord. He Himself is the rainbird, and the Ambrosial Nectar raining down. hir AMimRqu Awip pIAwvxhwrw ] (165-10)har amrit aap pee-aavanhaaraa. The Lord is the Ambrosial Nectar; He Himself leads us to drink it in. hir Awip kry Awpy insqwrw ]3] (165-11)har aap karay aapay nistaaraa. ||3|| The Lord Himself is the Doer; He Himself is our Saving Grace. ||3|| hir Awpy byVI qulhw qwrw ] (165-11)har aapay bayrhee tulhaa taaraa. The Lord Himself is the Boat, the Raft and the Boatman. hir Awpy gurmqI insqwrw ] (165-11)har aapay gurmatee nistaaraa. I have earned the profit, the wealth of devotional worship of the Lord. Those traders who trade in other merchandise, are caught up in the endless waves of the pain of Maya. Eie jyhY vxij hir lwieAw Plu qyhw iqn pwieAw ]3] (165-16)o-ay jayhai vanaj har laa-i-aa fal tayhaa tin paa-i-aa. ||3|| According to the business in which the Lord has placed them, so are the rewards they obtain. ||3|| hir hir vxju so jnu kry ijsu ik®pwlu hoie pRBu dyeI ] (165-17)har har vanaj so jan karay jis kirpaal ho-ay parabh day-ee.
